domestic flights are available from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. The journey
by air will take 50 minutes. From Kuala Terengganu Airport to Merang the journey
is approximately 35 minutes in a local taxi.
 Visitors
can also get to Kuala Terengganu from most major cities by road; Penang (490km),
Kuala Lumpur (460km) or Singapore (550km). Large comfortable coach services are
available in all the major cities.
